Madhuvanthi Thiagarajan (Registered Physiotherapist)

Madhu is a registered physiotherapist, licenced to practice in the province of Ontario. Madhu has over 8 years experience in providing evidence-based treatment in various orthopedic, musculoskeletal, neurological conditions including pre-and/or post operative rehabilitation, sports injuries and preventive care. She has taken several courses to further her skills in Acupuncture, Dry Needling, Soft Tissue Release, TMJ Rehabilitation and Manual Therapy. She specializes in orthopedic post-surgical Rehab like THR, TKR, ACL, Meniscus and rotator cuff surgeries. Madhu believes in combining manual therapy with functional exercise and body awareness for treating patients. She also involves herself in educating her patients to optimize function in their daily lives.

Madhu thoroughly assess each patient, and provide a treatment plan include hands-on treatment, individualized exercise program and functional training to achieve optimal health. Madhu integrates the use of manual therapy, k-taping, cupping, soft tissue release, exercise and patient education to help maximize the recovery and the overall physical well-being of her patients.

Madhu offers additional skills and knowledge in assessing causes of vertigo or/ dizziness, and carefully designs individualized, vestibular rehabilitation programs. She has a special interest in concussion management, and peripheral arterial disease (PAD) rehabilitation. She continually strives to further her knowledge and skills for her daily practice.
